The solar return chart is read beside the natal chart and the annual profection to describe the themes of the coming year. It is cast for the exact moment the Sun reaches its natal degree and minute, usually within a day of the birthday.

The site now has a night edition. Deep forest green takes the place of black, the woodcuts are re-inked in pale ink, and the red is tuned to glow without shouting.
Pictures printed in red ink, like the engravings and the portrait, are re-inked in the night green too, so the whole page speaks one colour after dark.
