A timing technique that moves the Ascendant forward one sign for each year of life.
In the first year of life the profected sign is the rising sign; at age one it moves to the next sign, and so on, returning to the rising sign every twelve years. The ruler of the profected sign becomes the Lord of the Year, the planet whose condition and transits matter most that year.
